I want to make a family command center similar to this photo. I have longingly wanted to duplicate something like this for a couple of years now. I also saw some cute ideas on the Tip Junkie blog if you want to visit there. My favorite Idea was a magnet board idea from http://controllingmychaos.blogspot.com/2009/08/another-problem-solved.html
I had it posted on my blog yesterday before I found out that I needed special permission to use photo's from her blog whoops!. Anyway so my goal is to have a house hold command center by the end of this week!
Update: You can find the command center/ schedule board that I made here :-)
Love it! (Can you send me the link to the cute magnetic board that you posted yesterday...?)
ReplyDeleteGosh darn it, Michelle, you keep adding to my already very long list of must-do projects! I'm feeling inspired to do something like this as well as I look around at all of my paper piles. I think I will mesh a couple of the ideas to create something a little different, but more functional for me. How do you have time with little Dani to accomplish all of these projects?! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a ton of time with the baby, but since she has started walking she is a lot more independent toddling around and it is helpful right now to have kids at home to help watch her while I work on some things. Sadly that will all be over Monday when they start school! After a year of doing nothing much in the craft department (because Danielle was such a demanding baby)I am a going through some sort of crafting frenzy!
ReplyDeleteIt all started when my friend asked for some good Super Saturday ideas. I started thinking of ideas that I have had in my head and I also started searching the net to get inspiration from others and It woke up the passion in me for the love of crafting! Having this blog helps to keep me going too. :-)
Michelle, I'm easy so you have my permission to post my magnetic board as long as you keep the link up. Thanks for the link love. :)
