A passion of mine...

I discovered a few years ago that I love to do stitchery. I find it very relaxing and it's something I love to do while watching tv or while riding in the car, especially on long trips. I've even made up a few of my own patterns. I haven't taken pictures of everything I've done, but I thought I would post a couple of things that I've created over the past couple of years.

This one is actually a Mac-a-doodles design. I met her (the Mac-a-doodles lady) one year at one of my mother-in-law's enrichment activities and this pattern is the one that started my love affair with stitchery. You can find the pattern here: http://www.macadoodles.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=28main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=28

This design I did on my own, but I think I got the idea from Michelle. I took it a little further by gluing fun buttons on the frame. Very fun!

  1. Paula,
You are getting me in the mood to do some stitchery! I have 3 Valentine ones that I designed last year and never got around to making them because Danielle was in a stage then when she would not let me put her down.
The Trick or Treat stitchery was one that I saw at Swiss Days in Midway and I took the idea and duplicated it. So I shared the idea with you, but it came from someone else who I don't know who they are. If you are reading this blog Trick or Treat stitchery designer let it be known so we can give you full credit! ;-)

  2. Michelle, I'm thinking you need to share those Valentines designs with me! I'll share mine if you share yours. Have I ever given you the Lazy Daisy pattern? It seems like you wanted it, is that right? Sorry I'm so spacey these days!
